Simplifying the Supply Chain, Logistics, and Transportation in Twenty-Two Century

 1- History of Shipping (Global Trade):

International trade started when humans started moving long distances to exchange goods and services between countries. Therefore, it is simply a diversity of economic resources in different countries.

In addition, the first formal marine trade route started about 5,000 years ago.  Due to more dangerous for land travel. They started using Astrolabe for navigation in the water on the Arabian Sea.

 

2- History of Supply Chain:

The supply chain is a system of organizations, people, activities, information, and resources joining in supplying a product or service to a consumer.

It started since long time ago due to the need for delivery cargo or services including delivery terms for the final customer.

 

3- History of Logistics:

It is a small part of the supply chain, and it first time to appeared in the late 19th Century in Antoine Henri Jaminie’s Book “The Art of War and later used in Military supplies and called Military Logistics.
