3 Main Factors affecting Supply Chain

There are many factors affecting international trade, for example:

1- Rising Tariff:

This is mainly about customs duty and as well, ocean freights apply to each country controlling cargo flow. I.E. Between USA-CHINA in 2020.

2- Intellectual property theft and counterfeiting :

It is a major global trade issue because it allows companies to unlawfully profit from breakthroughs made by other companies. It increases competition which causes reduced prices for businesses who spent the initial research to develop and improve their products.

3- Governments confiscating shipments:

This reason behind companies worry about pirates in some areas confiscating their shipments. This is likely because they expected war in the particular area. I.E. USA-IRAN situation.

All the above factors created high tensions in the areas, which affected directly trade.
