- AirPort Types:
It is a facility used for Airplanes (Aerodrome) as commercial or passengers, and the main types as:
- Airport:
Mainly used for general aviation facilities licensed by NAV (National Aviation Authority).
- Airbase:
It’s an aerodrome supported by aircraft and crew. Mainly used for military activities.
Some are used for civil as seaplane buses (In the Water).
- Airstrip:
It is a small aerodrome consisting only of running and sometimes fueling equipment. I.E. in the Pacific Ocean during the Second World War.
- Water Aerodrome (Seaplane base):
It is used in open water by seaplanes, floatplanes, and amphibious aircraft for landing and taking off.
